Non-contact lenght measuring unit

The device is suitable for measuring common conductors (cables, cores), but can also be modified for measuring flat or strip materials. In the standard version, the device is supplied with a stand made of aluminium profiles, which is designed to be anchored to the floor to ensure stable measurements.

We offer the stands in two versions as standard:

• for product diameters 1-10mm fitted with a set of V-shaped pulleys for precise centering of circular product cross-sections to the beam axis of the gauge. Product alignment is ensured by manually adjusting the distance between the bottom and top pulleys. This clamping ensures that the product is held precisely in the beam axis of the measuring unit.
• for product diameters of 10-80mm fitted with a set of lower guide pulleys, profiled in a “V” shape for precise centering of circular product cross-sections to the beam axis of the gauge. These pulleys are pneumatically lifted against a set of fixed top rollers to ensure that the distance between the product and the measuring unit itself is precisely maintained.

Upon agreement, the stand can be modified to the customer’s requirements.

The measuring unit can also be supplied as a separate set for integration directly into the line or machine without the stand we offer. The set includes the measuring sensor, the evaluation unit with display and the necessary interconnection cabling. Please contact us for more information.

The device has voltage-free contacts and Modbus TCP protocol for connection to the higher-level system.
